LUPE THE KILLA…

I just came across this new music video of Lupe Fiasco’s “Superstar,” feat Mathew Santos. I really can’t get over how good Lupe is. Even though his lyrics are so heavy they go over a lot of people’s heads, I completely appreciate that he never dumbs-down his thought-process. He sounds like if Jay-Z and Andre300 had a baby (no homo…phobia). He is as uncompromising as George Bush Jr. and unlike some of my other fav rappers (damn you Nasir), knows how to pick incredible beats.
There are few emcees in the history of Hip-Hop that can make timeless music I see myself, and future generations listening to 15-20 years from now. Lupe is the Truth. Keep being a skateboardin’, sober (he don’t drink or smoke!), Muslim, Manga (Japanese comics) lovin’ beast Mr. Fiasco. “Allah-Hu-Akbar” and so are you at what you do.
